Job Title: System Integrator / Software Engineer – Robotic Hand (m/f/d) Location: Berlin, Germany Why this role matters Having secured disruptive innovation funding, we are expanding our core technical team to scale our manipulation capabilities. In this role, you will define our early software architecture and turn complex hardware into robust, benchmarked physical manipulation systems.

You will own the end-to-end integration and software architecture connecting our robotic hand platform to arms, sensors, and real-world manipulation tasks. Integrate robotic arms, vision systems, and force-torque sensors with our novel hand platform. Architect modular software spanning robot control, perception, and communication abstraction layers. Establish benchmarking setups and standardized evaluation metrics for physical manipulation tasks. Execute hands-on manipulation experiments and analyze empirical bench-test performance data. Collaborate directly on overall physical system assembly and hardware bring-up. Who this is a fit for Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or related field. Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python. Practical, hands-on experience building systems in ROS 2. Deep expertise in robot control, motion planning, or object detection/segmentation. Driven by bench testing, physical hardware experimentation, and data analysis.
